BookAir · Wedding Charter

Every guest, on time, every venue.

Indian weddings move across cities and days. We coordinate the arrivals, the baraat entry, and the guest logistics, so your planning team can focus on the celebration itself.

Baraat arrivals
A helicopter entry for the groom's party at your venue, coordinated with your event timeline and ground team.
Guest coordination
Family and guests flying in from multiple cities for one function. We coordinate arrival windows so everyone lands close together.
Multi-function circuits
Sangeet, wedding, and reception across different cities or venues. One aircraft, one advisor, across every leg.
Same-day returns
Fly in for the ceremony and return the same night, common for guests with limited time away from work.

Plan the wedding flights

What decides whether a helicopter can land at your venue

  • The ground. Flat and open, clear of trees, wires and poles, levelled and barricaded, with an H marked out and security keeping guests back.
  • The clearances. Local police, the district administration and the airport authority, plus an Air Force no-objection in sensitive or restricted zones. The operator files them; we need the exact venue location and passenger identification from you.
  • The time. Allow several weeks. Two to three months is sensible, and more between November and February when both the aircraft and the approvals are in demand.
  • The light. Most venue landings are daylight operations, so the entry is planned around the function timing rather than the other way round.
If the venue cannot take a landing

It is a common outcome and not the end of the idea. We fly to the nearest helipad or airport and arrange the road transfer for the last stretch, or plan the entry at a second venue that does have the ground for it. Either way you hear it from us early, while the plan can still change.

Not sure what your venue allows? Send us the location and we will find out before you commit to anything.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you arrange a helicopter baraat entry?

Yes, subject to real landing clearance at or near your venue. Share the venue location early so we can confirm feasibility with the operator before anything is promised to the family.

What permissions are needed to land a helicopter at a wedding venue?

A landing away from an airport needs clearance from the local police and district administration and from the airport authority, and an Air Force no-objection where the venue sits in a sensitive or restricted zone. The operator files these; from you we need the exact venue location and identification for the passengers. Allow several weeks.

What does the landing area at the venue have to look like?

Flat, open ground clear of trees, wires and poles, with the surface levelled, the area barricaded, an H marking laid out and security in place to keep guests back. If your venue has no such space, we fly to the nearest helipad or airport and arrange the road transfer.

How far in advance should we book for a wedding date?

Two to three months is sensible, and more during the November to February peak. Wedding season puts the same helicopters and jets in demand across the country, and a venue landing needs its clearances in hand. Short notice is still worth asking about: we will tell you honestly what is possible.

Can you fly 100 or more guests in for a destination wedding?

Yes. Above roughly 50 people we plan it as several aircraft or one larger aircraft across arrival windows, so guests land close together rather than trickling in. The cost per seat usually falls as the group grows. Tell us the headcount and the cities they are coming from.

Can you coordinate guests arriving from different cities?

Yes. Share the cities and headcounts, and we'll coordinate arrival windows across multiple flights so your guests land close together.

Is same-day return possible for a single ceremony?

Yes, this is a common request. Share your timing and we'll confirm what's realistic for the route and aircraft.

Do you handle multi-venue weddings across different cities?

Yes. If your sangeet, wedding, and reception are in different cities, we can coordinate one continuous itinerary rather than separate bookings.
